DESCRIPTION:Come join us for a 8km hike at Mount Rose Swanson on Sunday\, J
 une 7th. This hike has great views from the top overlooking the valley at 
 Armstrong. The trail is well maintained but is a bit steep at the beginnin
 g. We will hike at a slow steady pace for those hill climbs\, taking break
 s as needed. Dress for the conditions\, bring your essentials\, appropriat
 e footwear\, poles\, lunch and bear spray if you have it. We will stop for
  a lunch break at the bluffs at the top with the great view. Meet-up at th
 e Valleyview arena parking lot at 9:00 am to arrange car pooling\, John an
 d Carole live in Chase\, so we will meet at the trailhead. Anyone driving
