 C AdventureSmart\, for an engaging and informative webinar focused on outd
 oor safety\, mountain awareness\, and the realities of search and rescue i
 n BC. Participants will learn how preparation\, awareness\, and decision-m
 aking can help prevent emergencies in the backcountry.\n\nThe webinar will
  also explore current search and rescue statistics\, common trends among o
 utdoor incidents\, and practical tips to help hikers\, riders\, and outdoo
 r enthusiasts enjoy BC’s outdoors safely and responsibly.\n\nSandra has 
 dedicated more than 30 years to outdoor recreation management\, beginning 
 her career as a BC Parks ranger in 1992. For the past 20 years\, she has l
 ed BC AdventureSmart\, working closely with BC’s 78 search and rescue gr
 oups\, made up of more than 3\,200 volunteers\, along with industry partne
 rs and stakeholders across the province. Sandra is passionate about buildi
 ng outdoor safety awareness and helping reduce the impact on search and re
 scue while strengthening BC’s outdoor safety culture.\n\nRegistration is
