This is an interesting route that takes you up into the grasslands of Lac Du Bois from the north end, starting off Westsyde road at Dairy Road. A trail goes steeply up to the hills above Deep Lake, then we wander off trail and back onto the pipeline area. Some lovely views from up there. We are off trail exploring quite a bit above Deep Lake area. After lunch we drop down onto an easy trail back to our vehicles. Various routes so distance is approximate.
Just in case some of you are not familiar with the start point we’ll meet at the Westsyde shopping centre at 0945 and convoy to trailhead just a few kms north of there.
