Join Carole and John on the Larch Hills snowshoe trails near Salmon Arm on Saturday, January 11th. This will be at a moderate, slower pace, but not necessarily a beginner snowshoe. We will snowshoe through the forest, marshes, past the “Magical Pond”, there is still some open water to navigate around along the trail. There will be ample time for photos, we will stop at the small shelter at the South Hub, for lunch, tea, or a snack. The group will meet at the Valleyview Arena to arrange car pooling and/or caravan to the trailhead, at 08:30, Carole and I will meet at the trailhead., we should be on the trail between 10 – 10:20. There are washrooms at the Chalet at trailhead. Fees are $10 per person payable with correct cash at the trailhead or by e-transfer payable to manager@skilarchills.ca  Bring all of your snowshoe gear, dressing for the conditions. There may be interest to stop for an coffee, beverage, snack in Salmon Arm after the event.
