Come out for a hike to Mara mountain from the East side from Pruden Pass.   There is an off trail route – we’ll follow the ridgelines where possible.  We’ll be hiking through long grass, sage brush, and forest.  There may be some steep loose sections.  Sturdy boots and poles are recommended!

We’ll meet at the Lac du Bois cattle guard above Batch Hills at 9:45 and convoy to the trailhead from there.

We’ll have an early lunch/snack at the top and enjoy the views!

Bring the usual Ten Essentials., and be prepared for the cooler weather and potential rain/dew.
