Description

A hike on Conservation lands, part of a working ranch

  • meet at Knutsford Hall just off Highway 5a South at 9:00 am
  • Drive to the Napier Ranch access road – a gravel road; park at the trailhead
  • Hike to the old homestead, then up into the open grasslands hills on Crown land to a viewpoint
  • tea at a viewpoint
  • Information on the hike – Napier Ranch Conservancy
  • Hike for 2 – 2.5 hours with a stop for lunch
  • A scenic hike

  1. The weather forecast is promising at this time. When we meet at Knutsford Hall, you can choose to organize carpooling if that is your wish (but I will let you organize it). The road up to the trailhead is a gravel road, but usually in good shape. I am keeping the group a little smaller since we will be on Conservation lands. See you soon. 🌿
