Description

The hike is hosted by the KHC Trekkers – and will be led by Monika

  • This hike is a loop through Peterson Creek beginning at the downtown Peterson Creek entrance & up to the tower
  • The trail is step & narrow in some sections and close to the edge in a few places
  • About 2.5 hours of hiking
  • We will stop for a snack break somewhere on the trail
  • Bring all your essentials & dress for the conditions with good hiking boots & poles.

About Monika Taki

I moved to Kamloops in 1994 and joined KHC in 2020. I recently retired and enjoy the following outdoor activities:cross country skiing, snow shoeing, kayaking, hiking and biking. I get out several times a week either with the club or family. I will lead outings throughout the year. Pace will be moderate and steady.
