This is a sample for the proposed new events noted in the News Post A Modest Proposal:

A Sunday morning 1.5 hour hike

• Meet at the trailhead – Whiteshield Crescent parking area for Peterson Creek (just off Summit Drive) at 9:00 am
• Dress for the conditions.
• We will be hiking up the trails on the west side of Peterson Creek and back
• The route has a steady climb, but nothing too difficult
• The organizer for this hike will be , but the actual route, pace, etc. will have group feedback.
• Stop for tea at a viewpoint.
• KHC members only.

Registration would be opened in advance.

The organizer does not have to know the route, nor actually lead.    He/she meets, greets, and supports the group.
