Description

  • Meet at Stake Lake.  Snowshoe fee is $5 if the OSC is open. 
  • Moderate snowshoe on the snowshoe trails which may have some deadfall.
  • We will stop at the Vista lookout shelter for a snack/lunch.
  • Bring all your essentials & dress for the conditions.
  • Poles are recommended this time of year.

I moved to Kamloops in 1994 and joined KHC in 2020. I recently retired and enjoy the following outdoor activities:cross country skiing, snow shoeing, kayaking, hiking and biking. I get out several times a week either with the club or family. I will lead outings throughout the year. Pace will be moderate and steady.

  2. Parking lot at Stake Lake is a sheet of ice and snowshoe trails are ugly (slippery, lots roots, bare). We’ll post the snowshoe after they get some snow.
