Four Waterfalls in one day!

Meet at the Paul Lake Carpool at 830am (for new members look on the website for carpool meetup locations). Carpool out to Wells Grey Park.

Water fall #1: Helmcken Falls. 0.8km from the parking lot. Quick stop for photos. Back in the vehicles. The falls are basically a short walk from the car to the viewing platform.

Water fall #2: Dawson Falls South. 1.45km from the parking lot. Quick stop for photos. Back in the vehicles. Easy, accessible walking path to two viewpoints of the falls.

Water fall #3: Moul Falls. 5.5km out and back trail. We’ll stop for a snack at these falls. If you’d like to walk behind the falls, bring a poncho to stay dry. This trail walks along a 2 track road which meets with the edge of the mountain. It’s quite a steep descent, and the park has new bridges and walkways to help. It’s then steep uphill on the return back to the road. If the trail is icey, we’ll skip the descent, abandoning this waterfall.

Water fall #4: Spahat Falls. 0.8km loop trail from the parking lot.

Being a lunch, essentials, spikes, and layers. Extra snacks and water for travelling. Conditions could vary for the Moul Falls Trail. We won’t attempt ice, but mud or slush are game. Return time is extremely flexible given driving distance and managing.
