Hiking Tours are a type of outing that may involve driving out of town, or on backroads, or up a mountain road. There may be a trail, but it may be a route, or it may be an off-trail route. Some may be in backcountry areas requiring better planning and preparation. An end time can’t be easily predicted for these kinds of outings. Each outing will be uniquely different and the event listing should provide enough information, including links to more information. Contact the hike leader for more information.
Anyone can contact the hike leader by email, message, or by comment to express interest in the outing. Bookings for the event will open 5-6 days in advance (pending the weather forecast). If the forecast is unfavourable, alternate dates will be looked at.
