Overview
Hike Leaders have ‘extra’ website access to create and edit events. Hike Leaders also have access to view and add pictures to the media library and can view all users.

- October 13, 2022 – WordPress applied an upgrade to Events Manager (July 25, 2022) that impacts the way Events and the Event Listing information is displayed. Email update sent to all KHC Hike Leaders. After the upgrade all our customizations were lost & Doug rebuilt our system to get us up and running.
- The way events and the event listing information is displayed is a bit different.
- A new Details section was added to the event & includes the Hike Leader, Contact, Distance, Difficulty & Special Notes information from the Event. This information is displayed above the event Description section

The Co-leader is no longer displayed on the event when you create an event.

May 5, 2022 – DSmith fixed the backend coding for the ‘Co-leader’ field which is on the event template & event form and can be used when you create or edit events to add several event co-leaders. DSmith created a new field called ‘Special Note. This is for items like – Co-Leaders Wanted, Date Changed, Date Changed, Cancelled, Fun for All, etc. which displays on the single events page, the upcoming events page, and in the widgets. Email update sent to all KHC Hike Leaders.
