Highway 1 West > Six Mile Lookout > Turn-off past the gully

• drivers are reminded that this turn is only safe if there is no one else in either lane so pull off at the lookout and then proceed when there are no other vehicles behind
• There is a track down to Balancing Rock and beyond to the hoodoos, but most of the rest of the route is off trail, following the edge of the bluffs over the lake.
• there are some private/leased lands so please heed the signage
