Stepping forward to organize and lead an event is a lot to ask of a volunteer.    As members we can make it more positive and worthwhile by encouraging leaders (comment or contact).

• We can thank leaders at the end of the event and offer positive words.
• If an event is posted and no one registers and no one comments, this is discouraging and that leader is unlikely to post another in the near future, but a kind word can help.
• All members can support hike leaders and co-leaders in a variety of ways and this in turn encourages more activity for all.
• Your help is requested.
