A hike to the top of Estekwalan Mountain, above Falkland

• meet early (tbd) to carpool or convoy
• drive to Westwold, then up a forest service road (high clearance) to the trailehead
• hike a loop route up to the rim (some light scrambling), around the rim, down through a gully and back up, then a steep scramble down the south side)
• not an easy route; some scrambling, good boots needed, and best for experienced hikers
• lunch on top of the mountain
• the date is proposed, but we would only do this hike in good conditions
• I have done this hike many times and return to do it every 3 years
