Description
A morning hike on the Mt. Embleton Trails. Up to the lookout, down the ridge, and across the Old Mills Trail.
- An early start to beat the heat – meet at the Paul Lake Road meetup at 8:30
- Convoy or carpool to Heffley Lake
- Drive to the upper parking lot (high clearance) (or get a ride from the bottom)
- Hike a loop route – 6.5 km
- A break for a drink and a snack at a viewpoint

- Dress for the weather, bring mosquito repellant, wear a hat, and bring water. A dip in Heffley Lake afterwards is optional.
