2025 KHC AGM

The Annual General Meeting of Kamloops Hiking Club was held on May 3rd at the Paul Lake Group Site.    There was a 6.7 km hike to the top of Gibraltar Rock and back, led by Maureen and Darlene.   After returning, a barbecue and potluck organized by Board members was ready for the hikers.    Thanks to Erika, Kevin, Doug, and Margo for the setup and to all members who contributed to the potluck. Outgoing President Margo Mercier led the AGM process and gave her President’s Report. Ongoing Treasurer Erika Herndier gave the year end (Dec. 31) Treasurer’s Report. Spring Newsletter

Spring Newsletter Membership Sign Up – Thank you to Frith for processing the Member Renewals and Registrations as well as our Treasurer, Erika for keeping the records current.  It is volunteer driven and we appreciate our volunteers.  After April 1st, the Board has decided to keep membership registration open; however, the registration will be manual and slower to process the paperwork.  Patience will be needed.   Also, it should be noted there is no proration of membership fees as it will remain at $35/year (from March 1 – Feb 28th).
