Description
A hike from the Savona Cemetery along a single track trail on the north side of Kamloops Lake to Sabiston Beach and back.
- Meet at the Six Mile Hill Lookout just off Highway #1 overlooking Kamloops Lake at 9:30 (participants may wish to organize their own carpooling)
- Convoy to the trailhead.
- Hike the trail to the beach. Lunch at the beach before hiking back.
- A moderate, but longer hike on a dry trail. Scenic.
- Watch for updates.
I will be hiking this trail on Wednesday solo or with a small group. You are welcome to join me.
I will meet you at the Savona graveyard at 9:45 if that’s okay.

The hike filled up so 10 of us will be doing this fine hike on Wednesday. Conditions look mild, but cloudy. Anyone who wants to carpool from Kamloops can comment to this event, but otherwise we will meet at the lookout over the lake at 9:30 (and Joyce at the trailhead a little after that). Cheers, D
