The informal trail starts from the end of the road past the cemetery and follows a route above the CNR line toward Sabiston Creek and back.

• From Kamloops, drive through Savona and then over the bridge.   Take the first right and then follow signs to the cemetery.   Park on the left and the rail starts on the east with a gate through the fence.
• The trail continues to Sabiston Creek and it is possible to hike farther, but we usually turn around at a beach location or farther along on top of the ridge.
