There are several possible trailheads.

• Rose Hill Park on Rose Hill Road, 2.6 km up from the bottom of the road
• a starting point for hikes east (gas line, Juniper, Juniper Hills) and west (Joyce Gulch)
• Scott Road is higher up Rose Hill Road on the left opposite a new housing development
