We organized four hikes for KHC in July. July 3 – Red Plateau Ramble We hiked a loop route on top of Red Plateau from the Red Plateau Forest Service Road.    A forested route with fine views from the rim of the escarpment. July 17 – McConnell Hill Ramble We hiked a loop route on the Stake Lake Trails, with a section over McConnell Hill with a stop at the lookouts. July 26 – Rattler Ramble A loop route on the Stake Lake Trails which included the Rattler Lookout and the Rattler Trail. July 31 – Mt. Embleton Ramble A loop route on the Mt. Our June Rambles

On June 5th, ten of us hiked a route in the Napier Ranch Conservancy.   A 4 km route on a double track and across the grasslands hills. On May 7, six of us hiked a km route in the Lundbom Grasslands on the Cocobonk Trail.    A sunny day in June when everything was green and before the mosquitoes.   A 13 km route taking about 4 hours.   On June 12, nine of us hiked a loop route on Buse Hill on a fine day.  A 4.4 km route taking about 4 hours on a sunny spring day.
