Early openings for backcountry sites at Berg Lake and Bowron Lakes starts Dec. 2.    Hike leaders or members may want to consider organizing a group for 2026.    Other sites in the Rockies and elsewhere will also be open for bookings soon.   For example, Lake O’Hara opens in January.    Any bookings could be then turned into KHC Backpacks or Camp and Hikes for memers.
