Summer 2024 Newsletter

Hi All

Just a quick note as the summer heat winds down, and September is around the corner.

It has been a good summer for weather and smoke which shouldn’t have put a dampener on anyone’s plans.

Summer is always a busy time for family and vacation plans for everyone.  Kamloops has had some extreme heat this summer, which made it tough to go hiking, but there has been a variety of club’s events for the members such as, Sheila’s popular Backpack adventures, assorted hikes, rambles, wanderers, trekkers, and a few Kayak events.  Some of our members have been on amazing hiking trips that we were able to follow through posted pictures.

We are looking forward to cooler bug free weather in September and more day hikes planned. As always we are looking for new ideas and members to step up and post their own events.
