Trails

Kamloops is surrounded by an incredible network of trails, from gentle nature walks to challenging backcountry routes. This page is designed to help hikers explore local trail options, learn more about the areas we visit, and prepare for safe, enjoyable outings.

The Kamloops Hiking Club hikes on a wide variety of trails throughout the year, including grassland routes, forested paths, canyon trails, lakeside walks, snowshoe routes, and alpine hikes. Trail conditions can change quickly depending on weather, season, wildfire activity, access roads, and maintenance, so hikers are encouraged to check current conditions before heading out.

This page provides trail information and helpful resources for members, visitors, and anyone interested in hiking in the Kamloops region.

Before You Go

Hiking With KHC

Kamloops Hiking Club members can register for organized hikes through the club website. Club hikes are led by volunteer hike leaders and vary in distance, difficulty, pace, and terrain. If you are new to the club, review the hike description carefully and choose outings that match your current ability.

Membership is required to participate in KHC hikes, but this trail information is available to the public as a community resource.
