Come join us for a 8km hike at Mount Rose Swanson on Sunday, June 7th. This hike has great views from the top overlooking the valley at Armstrong. The trail is well maintained but is a bit steep at the beginning. We will hike at a slow steady pace for those hill climbs, taking breaks as needed. Dress for the conditions, bring your essentials, appropriate footwear, poles, lunch and bear spray if you have it. We will stop for a lunch break at the bluffs at the top with the great view. Meet-up at the Valleyview arena parking lot at 9:00 am to arrange car pooling, John and Carole live in Chase, so we will meet at the trailhead.
