Description

A hike to the top of Mara Mountain from Pruden Pass up the Mara NE Route

  • Meet at the Batchelor Hills meetup location at 9:00 to carpool (org. your own ride) or convoy.
  • Drive a secondary gravel road to the trailhead
  • Hike a route (some trail, some open grassland and some open forest) to the south lookout on Mara Mountain
  • Lunch at the viewpoint
  • Return by a loop route over the east summit (a game trail)
