Guests
Kamloops Hiking Club organizes hiking, snowshoeing, backpacking, and other outdoor events for its members. KHC is also a member of the Federation of Mountain Clubs of British Columbia and follows applicable FMCBC policies and insurance requirements as closely as possible.
Guests may be considered for posted day hikes when space is available and the event is suitable. This may include family members, new partners, people new to Kamloops, community members who want to try a KHC event, or guests who can assist the Hike Leader with a route or area.
The Guest Policy applies to day hikes only. This helps KHC manage risk and limits liability for Hike Leaders and the Club.
All guests must complete the online Guest E-Waiver before the event and pay the non-refundable $15 guest fee by e-transfer to treasurer@kamloopshikingclub.net.
If you know a KHC member, contact them first. The member can log in and request an additional space for the event by booking two spaces.
If you do not know a KHC member, contact KHC at info@kamloopshikingclub.net or email the Hike Leader listed for the event.
