With the arrival of spring, conditions improved on the lower elevation trails, allowing members to hike on a variety of trails and routes.   Leaders have been planning ahead for events through the spring months, with our thanks. Just ahead is the AGM/Social/Backpack Training/Gear Swap on April 12 from 1:00 to 5:00.    Members can attend for the whole time period or for a part of the time.    We hope to see you there. As the end of winter approaches, KHC shifts to hiking the trails, first at lower elevations, and as each week goes by, to higher trails.    There are hundreds of routes to choose from (link), and hike leaders pick the ones they will lead for the current conditions for the dates chosen.    Members can also suggest other hikes (contact us).   In most weeks, 3 or more events are published, but we can do more if more members can help to lead a hike.
