Description
A hike from the top of Savona Mountain out to a trail/route, along the rim and back.
- Tentative for now, but some rough info provided here.
- Meet early (for the heat). Since there is no shade on this route, if it is too hot, it will be cancelled/rescheduled.
- Carpool or convoy to the Tunkwa Lake Road.
- The Savona Mountain Road is a high clearance mountain road.
- Park at the top by the comm towers.
- Hike a rugged route for about 2 hours; lunch at a viewpoint.
- To participate in this hike, you would need an appropriate vehicle (or a ride in one – organize your own carpooling).
