Description

A hike from the top of Savona Mountain out to a trail/route, along the rim and back.

  • Tentative for now, but some rough info provided here.
  • Moved to a less hot time…
  • Meet tba
  • Carpool or convoy to the Tunkwa Lake Road.
  • The Savona Mountain Road is a high clearance mountain road.
  • Park at the top by the comm towers.
  • Hike a rugged route for about 2 hours; lunch at a viewpoint.
  • To participate in this hike, you would need an appropriate vehicle (or a ride in one – organize your own carpooling).
  • If there is interest, please comment.   Sounds like there is interest so it will be a go for the fall…
